From the name of Dulwich Picture Gallery, most people deem the content of gallery is picture. In fact, the gallery mainly displays their collection of classic paintings. The magnificent gallery is small but houses qualitative and delicate masterpieces. We can see the quality from environment, artworks and staff who are in the reception, gift shop and gallery. I was impressed by the staff who is friendly and automatically to illustrate the important work and key point of the gallery, that makes visitor to come here not only just to admire the paintings but respect the essence of the gallery. The gallery focuses on education, aiming to be an idea place for young people to deeper understand visual art and engage in dialogue about the paintings, in addition, workshop and studio provided for them to develop skills from professional artists. Dulwich Picture Gallery is an independent charitable trust and receives no government funding. Their free Education programme is funded by voluntary grants and donations. So, all sessions at gallery are free of charge. It's absolutely an amazing place for the local people. (20.03.12, London) Dulwich Picture Gallery (2012) Sackler centre for Arts Education.
